Mission

Dr. S. A. Manohara founded Truxtun Psychiatric Medical Group in 1984. He is well known and respected for his loyalty and caring nature. As the owner of both Good Samaritan Hospital and Truxtun Psychiatric Medical Group, he provides complete quality inpatient and outpatient mental health care to the Kern County population. His desire to improve patient care has enabled him to bring the latest treatments in mental health to his community.

Since 1984, Dr. Manohara's staff has grown to include six Psychiatrists, a Nurse Practioner, a Therapist, and a Case Manager. Dr. Manohara's goal has been to meet all of his patient's outpatient mental health needs at one convenient location and to ensure inpatient care when needed.
